J.J. Fryer was born in South Brisbane and moved to the Sunshine Coast when he was six months old. He was born with Mild Cerebral Palsy and later diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in June, 2008. J.J. loved fantasy from a young age. He discovered his flair for writing at 17 and hopes to go far with it. He is also is an aspiring actor, that has been an extra on Mako: Island of Secrets and Harrow. His debut series, Beneath the Surface hopes that it will inspire people with special needs to believe in themselves. In his spare time he loves to read and geek out to his favourite movies and T.V. shows and creating YouTube videos.
